Chakra Clearing For A Healthy Life

In Sanskrit, the term chakra literally means wheel or disk; therefore, it refers to the vibrational energy centers in the human body. These vibrational wheels or disks correspond to major organs and nerve bundles. The chakras, however, are usually most commonly referred to as the seven major ones. Each chakra vibrates at a different frequency compared to its counterpart on other parts of the human body, which is why there are seven major chakras. These major chakras are:

The crown chakra is situated in the top of the head and is responsible for the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness of the person. The seven main chakras, when balanced, work together in harmony with the crown to help in improving the quality of life for everyone concerned. The seven main chakras, also called the Base or Root Chakra, include: the genitals, the throat, the heart, the stomach, the brain, and the lungs. These chakras correspond to various organs or systems within the body, as described by each chakra’s description in Sanskrit. For example, the genitals corresponds to the genitals, heart to the heart, stomach to the stomach, and the brain to the brain.

The third eye chakra or Sahasrara Chakra is located in the middle of the forehead just above the eyes. This chakra plays a vital role in improving the quality of our own perception and in regulating the functioning of the eyes. The sahasrara chakra influences color perception and is believed to also help regulate the functioning of the thymus gland and glandular tissue. When this chakra is blocked or weakened, one experiences a variety of symptoms such as lack of sight, speech problems, slow reflexes, depression, lack of motivation, irritation, and many more.

The second chakra, the throat, also known as the Brahma Nadi, is located at the top of the head. Its primary function is to control the flow of breath. When this chakra is unbalanced, it can result in: difficulty swallowing, hoarseness, irritability, asthma, colds, poor appetite, and fatigue. To improve the health of the throat, meditators should practice yogic postures that strengthen the muscles in the throat and those surrounding the throat. A yogic smile is also very useful to strengthen the muscle tissues and stimulate the throat.

The fifth chakra or mango chakra is located below the eyes in a part of the brain called the cerebral cortex. Its primary function is to coordinate and synchronize the major organs of the body including the brain, the lungs, the heart, the glands, and the nerves. In addition, it governs the functioning of the nervous system which enables the body to think, reason, and behave normally. If these energy centers are weak, it can result in the following: headaches, a lack of mental clarity, insomnia, excessive worry, constant headaches, a feeling of unease, and nervousness. In order to stimulate the energy centers of the brain and calm the nervous system, meditators should inhale and exhale deeply through the nose while focusing on one’s breathing, Visualize an object, or fix their gaze on it while breathing slowly.

By improving one’s lifestyle, habits, and diet, chakra blocks can be removed from the spine and allow healing to occur. However, it may take years for this to occur. As stated above, there are seven major chakras or energy centers of the human body and there are seven main chakra centers in the physical body, each of which is represented by a color. If the energy center in your face is blocked, blue colored crystals may be placed by the face to improve its appearance and allow the person to breathe freely again.
